Even before the COVID-19 crisis, the supply chain industry started facing demand for flexible capacity. The freight forwarding and transportation industry must find ways to adapt quickly and dynamically to changes in demand and prices. COVID-19 has reinforced this fact by restricting access to transport resources and requiring carriers to adapt very quickly. To help them in their work, it is necessary to bring transparency into the supply chain so that they can react quickly, adapt and tackle problems proactively.
Now, solutions that require on-premise infrastructure do not allow this flexibility. In this presentation, we will explore what solutions are available on the market and how they enable forwarders and shippers to adapt to changes.
